Assoc. Prof. PhD Mariya Aleksandrova

     Welcome to my personal website! I am an associate professor in the Department of Microelectronics at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Technologies, Technical University of Sofia. My research is related to material science and technologies for micro- and nanoelectronic devices. My projects are in the field of fabrication and testing of flexible polymeric optoelectronic devices, application of different deposition methods for small molecule based electroluminescent layers, preparation and investigation of multilayer electroluminescent structures with organic semiconductors. I teach bachelor and master classes in the subjects “Material science for microelectronics”, “Displays”, “Nanomaterials”, “Thin films deposition processes”, “Manufacturing in electronic industry” and “MEMS Technology”.

MY LATEST RESEARCH

My research activity is related to:

- Fabrication and testing highly flexible transparent electrodes for flexible optoelectronic devices;

- Optimization of the deposition methods for organic electroluminescent thin and thick films on flexible substrates;

- Fabrication and study of organic light emitting devices (OLEDs);

- Thin films for piezoelectric sensors & harvesters, gas sensors and electrochromic "smart windows";

- Vacuum deposition processes for micro- and nanoelectronics.

MY ACADEMIC ACTIVITY
